Yahoo! Playoff Generator and the Jets
So I really like this tool. You get to predict every single matchup and determine what you think will be the playoff picture. I posted this on Blogging the Boys and thought I'd post this from a Jets point of view. Here's my scenario.
My scenario unfortunately does not have the Jets in the playoffs.
Division Winners: New England, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, San Diego
Wild Cards: Denver, Baltimore
I made the Jets go undefeated in their last three games (vsAtlanta, @Indianapolis, vsCincinnati). Not that that's actually what I think will happen, but I wanted to see what their playoff fate would be if they did.
They're still not in it. It all comes down to Baltimore (I also have them going 3-0, but it's a more realistic 3-0 than the one I gave the Jets, since they play Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Oakland)
My opinion: Jets are a longshot for the playoffs, especially without the tie breakers against Jacksonville and Miami.
Feel free to post your own scenarios!

Originally a Cowboys fan
I have family all over the south. My dad’s a Dallas native. I moved to New York, went to a Jets game, wanted a local team to support, and I decided to follow the Jets. Since I’ve actually been to their games they’re more personal to me than the Cowboys.
Besides, I couldn’t exactly pledge my allegiance to the Giants, could I? :P
2009 Dallas Cowboys: 10-6
2009 New York Jets: not 11-5 :(
2009-2010 Dallas Mavericks: 57-25

I guess not...
Aren’t you lucky NY has two teams? Also, just noticed the Jets logo in the middle of the star. Nice.
