O Kerry Rhodes Just STOP TALKING (or tweeting)

Kerry had this to say to a fan when the fan asked about his situation in New York...

"New York is an OK place to play. Very good place to live and do other things, but to play is OK. I love real fans like you, trust me. The only reason I would leave is to show the few that hate what I will do with another team and let them know that having me isn’t that bad! I promise a lot of teams would love to have me as their problem."

Kerry Rhodes is really starting to get on my nerves as well as twitter. I really wish for the rest of the season Rex bans twitter or places a rule where no tweets about the New York Jets will be allowed. If its about his personal life it is fine, but please nothing that will distract the team.

I have personally met Kerry at a Party before and he was a very nice and respectful guy. Now, i have no respect for him as he keeps becoming a distraction for the Jets. We are even in a playoff race and he is still going on and on about his starting job.

This guy really came down on Kerry. Maybe this will wake Kerry up because THE JETS need him to.

It’s getting to a point where it’s just boring to talk about, I agree though he needs to just stop. Tweet away about what your doing etc, but don’t talk about leaving when your team is in the title race, heard something last night on the UFC 107 show that relates to the Eric Smith, Kerry Rhodes situation.

“Hard work beats talent, then talent doesn’t work hard”

I think that is exactly the situation here, Kerry has more talent than Eric, but without putting in the work (the impression I get from him) Smith beats him hands down. That’s why Smith is starting.

I think the twitter thing is not up to Rex Ryan. The Jets organization has been encouraging it, and they even have their own account – twitter.com/nyjets.

I don’t think he can say you can’t use it, but he can call Kerry into the office and offer him some ‘advice’ on what to avoid posting…..then if Kerry continues he will understand just how seriously Kerry takes this ‘advice’ or not.

Although he did not do much besides the interception, i thought he played well.

You can’t blame the guy if Tampa can not even get 100 yards passing.

He barely played today, seemed like he spent more time off the field than on, and he got another INT on a terrible throw, he still had to make the play though and he climbed the ladder, so credit where credit is due, but he is well and truly in the dog house by the looks of it. Seemed like we used a lot of rotation at the safety position today.

Do people talk about players on all teams like this?

I can’t believe some of the things I am reading about K Rhodes. I understand as a fan we get frustrated but I don’t think I see any of you people out on the field playing.

The content in here is very mild compared to what I’ve heard some fans say about him. I think the whole point is that he is out on the field, and not performing. He gets paid to do a job, he gets paid a lot. He doesn’t do it he will get punished, problem came their where he complained. If we don’t do our jobs we have to answer to it, same goes for Kerry. Can’t complain when you are not doing your job. It’s very simple.
