Parade Day in New York

Today the Yankees head down the Canyon of Heroes to celebrate championship number 27. I'm interested to see how Jets fans root in baseball. The general perception is Giants fans root for the Yankees, and Jets fans root for the Mets. I'm an exception to that rule, though. I'm a big Yankees fan.

Cubs fan as you know :D

However if seeing a parade in NY for a champion helps LeBron come to the Knicks, I’m all for it. Alan Hahn the Newsday beat writer for the Knicks had a good post on it yesterday.

Lifelong Yankees fan here

I don’t know how many people are aware of this but for some reason most Cubans are huge Yankees fans (I have no idea why, it really doesn’t make any sense to me but whatever) so I’m I guess a Yankees fan by blood.

I guess I became a Jets fan when I was really little because my favorite color is green, LOL. Not coincidentally, my next most favorite team is the Eagles. You can imagine how things are with my Giants fan friends…

but its good see the yanks win it, as long as its not at the Mets expense (2000), and it makes it sweeter that it happened at the phillies expense (i hate them…so much)
