Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets Game Thread

Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets, Nov 15, 2009 1:00 PM EST

The Jets face a difficult road to get to the Playoffs. A loss today would make it even tougher. Let's start the second half of the season the way we started the first, by crushing an AFC South foe.

Leave thoughts about the game below.

I ish all the Jets and jags fan a great game

let the better team (no matter which teams it is) win. It is a veeery big game for both teams. Who lose; might can say bye-bye to the playoffs (Chances are looking right now that my team will be on the losing side)
Have fun everyone!

Looking forward to a good game

Got a lot of respect for the Jags, and hopefully we get through without any injuries. Hoping for a good clean game where no unit makes any serious mistakes, then if we get beat, we can just say, we got beat, simple. Let’s hope we come out on the right side however.

Hopefully we can erase the memory of recent bad games against the Jaguars, as well as the tough losses this season.

Thanks to the Jaguars fans who have been very friendly all week, here at Gang Green Nation as well as over at Big Cat Country!

So the NY Jets will be shown in primetime here!

[edit] "The Return"
During the 2006 Backyard Brawl game with rival West Virginia, Revis made a dynamic, 73-yard punt return, while breaking several tackles, and finally scoring a touchdown late in the second quarter. The key block to spring him, by Pitt wide receiver Derek Kinder, took out two Mountaineers. The play was nominated for “Best Play” at the 2007 ESPY Awards. The video was also voted the best College Football Play of the Year Video:3.

Edwards does not read it well. If he tucks it and runs, he picks up 15 yards. There was nobody there.

Now I know how Mets fans feel

The Jets are the same animal. Loads of talent, nothing to show for it. Guys mouthing off, getting the other teams up to play them. This team needs an overhaul at seasons end, these guys dont have what it takes to be winners

by YankeesJets on Nov 15, 2009 4:03 PM EST reply actions

We don't need a overhaul

We have A top 3 CB, good young QB,a good running that will only get better when Leon is back next year and a top 5 Defense. We just always seem to underachieve every year

DO WHAT JOSE REYES DO!!!

by Jadden Hopkins on Nov 15, 2009 4:08 PM EST up reply actions

We need to get rid of the guys that arent winners

We have a ton of talent, but some of them are not winning ballplayers. A guy like Rhodes is more interested in things off the field than being great and helping the team.

by YankeesJets on Nov 15, 2009 4:10 PM EST up reply actions

Maybe this team is doomed until Joe Namath Passes Away

It seems that maybe he did make a deal with the devil. The Jets are the Cubs of Football.

by YankeesJets on Nov 15, 2009 4:14 PM EST up reply actions

Cant blame it one unit today. It was a team loss

And then to top it off the Bucs couldnt at least give me a little joy? I am going to have to root on the Pats, I would rather they win the next 3 SBs than see Jason Taylor play another playoff game in his career.
