Gholston Out, Lowery Starts
Just a quick update from today, Vernon Gholston didn't practise for the third straight day, and will be inactive for the game against the Jaguars this weekend. Also Rex said that the team will be starting with Dwight Lowery opposite Revis, but Lito Sheppard will play:
"Even though he’s practiced fully, I don’t think Lito’s all the way back yet," Rex Ryan said. "We’ll evaluate and see how much he plays. I think we’ll start Dwight Lowery."
Rex also commented that Dwight Lowery and or Brad Smith may be returning kicks on Sunday
"We’re always going to do what’s in the best interest of us," Ryan said. "If we think Lowery or Brad Smith gives us the best opportunity to be successful in our return game, then that’s what we’ll do."
Not sure we should be giving up on Miller just yet, he certainly has the talent but he was out of practise for the Miami game, and if he is not returning kicks then he shouldn't be on the team. His defensive ability is limited and someone like Carrol gives us a better option on kick coverage

Oh well
Hard to miss the guy when we don’t use him when he’s healthy anyway. He’s shaping up to be a major bust as it is.
I like the idea of splitting time at the number 2 cornerback slot.
take it easy on vernon
he’s got a boo-boo
lol
he got injured during a walkthrough.
is a walkthrough really what it sounds like?
or is there actually some physical activity during that?
and the home of the... JETS!!!
Two things about a walk through
It’s no contact with no pads, and it’s at half speed.
So I guess it’s possible that he could pull a hamstring, because they are running, so they are not necessarily walking, but even so, there has to be a problem already you would think, not heard of too many players getting injured during a walk through. It’s supposed to just get the plays in players heads without the danger of any injuries, so much for that.
