Jets Aren't Looking Past Jacksonville
Rex Ryan made it clear he's not focusing on the showdown in Foxborough next weekend.
"We’ve got to get through Jacksonville before we play New England," he said. "Jacksonville has the exact same record as we do. They’re coming off two wins in a row, so they’re talented. You look at them offensively with Maurice Jones-Drew, and he’s a difference-maker back there."
At least Ryan has the right focus. The Jets pretty much have shown they can beat anybody, and they can lose to anybody. And Jacksonville has the same record as the Jets. So this is pretty much a must win, as a loss would mean the Jets would have to go 6-1 over the last seven weeks to get to 10-6.
Not only do the Jagaurs have the same record as the Jets, a loss could put New York 3 games behind the Pats. That kind of deficit would make the game at New England significantly less meaningful. Even if the Jets won up there, a 2 game hole would probably be too much to overcome. After the Buffalo game, nothing is for granted. On the other note, the wins against the Pats and the Texans show this team can compete against anybody.

Rightfully so
This is going to be a difficult game, we need to have 100% focus on it, if we don’t and we come out on the losing side, we can kiss goodbye to the play-offs. Hoping that everyone turns up this Sunday and we can get back to putting in the complete performances like Houston.

We have at home which is good...
Always like to have the warm-weather teams in our place in the 2nd half of the season. That said, the Pats very well could lose to the Colts in Indy. You know Peyton would love to stick it to them. Therefore a win for the Jets is huge. Going to Foxborough just one game back would be perfect.

Plus the Dolphins would gain even more ground
Which makes me ill thinking about.
2009 Dallas Cowboys: 10-6
2009 New York Jets: 11-5?
2009-2010 Dallas Mavericks: 57-25
