Darrelle Revis Comedy Club Debut At 12 Angry Mascots

Just bringing this post back up. Thanks to the Edwards trade it was pushed down the page rather quickly, but with it a couple of weeks away, I thought it was a good idea to bring this back to peoples attention.

I'm writing this as a appeal to all Jets fans in the NY area. Our very own shut down corner Darrelle Revis will be making his first appearance at the 12 Angry Mascots comedy club this October 22nd. If you are not sure what 12 Angry Mascots is exactly I spoke with Scott Rogowsky, a 12 Angry Mascots employee to get the inside scoop:

12 Angry Mascots is NYC's only sports-themed comedy-variety-talk show... kind of like Late Night with Conan O'Brien/Jimmy Fallon for sports.  Each show consists of sports-themed sketches, character bits, a monologue... and features a comedian doing a sports stand-up set. We cap each show with interviews with celebrity athletes. This show we welcome Darrelle Revis and the Knicks Chris Duhon.

So if you want to get a close up look at Revis off the field this is your perfect opportunity. It is sure to be one of the most entertaining shows yet, and for a Jets fan it really is unmissable. If your Knicks fan like myself, it's even better as joining Revis will be Duhon, what more could you ask for.

A portion of the proceeds will be going to "The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America", a non-profit organization, 12 Angry Mascots continues to work closely with charities that benefit the surrounding area.

The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) will be receiving a portion of the proceeds from this show.  It's part of our initiative to team with worthy charities as sponsors of each show.  In the past we've given to Project Sunshine, a nonprofit organization that provides free educational, recreational, and social programs to children and families living with medical challenges.

CCFA is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. The Foundation funds cutting-edge studies at major medical institutions, nurtures investigators at the early stages of their careers, and finances underdeveloped areas of research.
