Rex Isn't Sympathetic to Miami's Injury Woes

Rex Ryan doesn't feel bad for the Dolphins over losing cornerback Will Allen for the year, which forces them to start two rookies at corner.

"I don't care about that," Ryan said. "We lost a Pro Bowl nose tackle (Kris Jenkins) and a Pro Bowl running back (Leon Washington), so boo hoo hoo."

I'm sure that won't make him many friends in South Florida, but the main point stands. Good teams find a way to overcome injuries. Bad teams use them as excuses.

Actually

if you ask any Dolphin fan, I’m sure you’ll find most are excited about Vontae and Smith starting opposite each other. Will Allen was doing okay this year, but giving these 2 rookies experience is more important we feel.

Very True....

Teams were actually targetting Allen over Smith because Allen was giving up big plays and had some issues tackling.

Obviously there will be a learning curve, and rookie mistakes made, but I’m excited to see how it works out.

Actually, this one onf of the few things Rexy baby has said

that I agree with.

Injuries are part of the game; the Jets have also had some big ones; and no one is going to feel sorry for you.

As much as i hate the Pats, they tend to be the masters of working around key injuries during the season. If you want to win, you have to be prepared to do that.

since when did we use his injury as an excuse?

i don't think anybody's insinuating that

we have big injuries on both sides, and bad teams would use that as an excuse.
but i don’t think he meant to say miami or new york was doing that.

Rex Ryan is a fat ass

Hey Rex Ryan go eat nutts like fear factor you fat bastard LoL, the loss to the dolphins wouldnt be as hard if you wernt so damn over confident. You need to set an example for you team and suck it up and be humble about every game. Even your own team is talking trash and they dont even take the time to be humble instead they blah blah this gimmick that, superbowl this, just be humble you fat fuck LoL

I suspect that people who can not be humble are simply making up for their lack of package!

Just think how stupid the average Jest fan is, and then realize that half of them are even stupider! ( a parody of a George Carlin line)

I am sure the dolphins

are not holding candle-light vigils for Jenkins/Washington.

Good teams play through their injuries

My beloved Jets have a long history of not doing that down the stretch. If anything I’d say the Fins have a much better chance without Allen than we do without Jenkins.

also agree.

Jenkins is a HUGE loss for your team.

Fucking fatass

Rex Ryan will be fired in 2 years. Fatass will be back to being a D.coordinator soon.

by MvCanes10 on Oct 30, 2009 7:03 PM EDT reply actions   0 recs

I agree

I simply think he is a way better D coordinator than a head coach. Look at Sparano, he doesnt talk much he always encourages his players. ACTIONS REFLECT LEADERSHIP….

Rex Ryan Talking trash= Bart Scott, Calvin Pace, Kerry Rhodes

Sparano= no trash talking,
see how fast crowder got quiet after management told him to hold his tongue?
