Hexes Broken
...That is to say the Jets ended their horrific streaks on the West Coast and on 4:00 starts along with that ugly three game losing streak. An opponent like this was just what the doctor ordered. The Raiders surely helped this rout today, but this was a nice way to build just a little confidence and momentum heading into a big game next week against the Dolphins.
The run game and defense couldn't have been better.
The only negatives were big ones, injuries to Shaun Ellis, Bart Scott, and Leon Washington, especially Washington's. It looked really bad. I don't think we'll be seeing much of him in the near future.

Leon Washington
broken fibula.
staying in west coast for surgery.
rex hopes he could still come back later in the season
and the home of the... JETS!!!
I feel for Leon
He should fire his agent for telling him to turn down the money the Jets were offering.
No he shouldn't.
He has the final say, not his agent. He knew there was a chance he could get hurt and he decided to play anyway. People need to stop blaming agents for this shit. These guys are big boys, they make their own decisions at the end of the day.

out for the year
i was being too optimistic
i guess i misinterpreted what rex said
he’s out for the year
and the home of the... JETS!!!
Totally agree with yankee jets
The Jets can totally drive his price down now…it’s a hefty loss, not as big as Jenkins really hurts our big play capability, thankfully greene and jones looked very good today.
No question, but Leon brings a dimension Greene and Jones do not. Plus what we lost on kickoff returns.

Jones And Greene played nice but they are not great receiving backs
The Jets are gonna miss Washington on screen plays and as a returner. We Shall Overcome. We have to.
