How Bad Could our Season Go In Three Weeks??!!

First things first.. What is the deal with Mark Sanchez? 5 int.. Sure he didn’t have the three he worked with this off season, Cothchery, Smith, Stucky, and he played in new weather but he didn't look confident in his throws, and he was late on routes. I personally think that Jets fans should be worried about our franchise QB. With the pressure of the New York media and the fans, it is a difficult environment to come in as a 22 year old and prosper. I believe he has the ability to succeed at such a young age, but the Jets should have kept with the run. Sanchez shouldn't have even dropped back! When you have such a dynamic run game, which the Jets did, it is hard to not prosper in the passing game. It sets up the play action and the defense puts and extra man in the box so there is single coverage at the wide receiver.

Second, we shot ourselves in the foot by giving the Bills 91 yards from 13 penalties. We killed many of our drives and two important ones in overtime with dumb, unnecessary penalties like unnecessary roughness and false starts.

Third. We lost two key players to injuries. Kris Jenkins, who is sadly now out for the year, and Damien woody, who aggravated his foot.

I’m not being pessimistic but realistic, the Jets 2009-2010 season could possibly be over.

I'll panic if we lose to the Raiders

I don’t care if they beat the Eagles. They’re awful. At least losses to the Dolphins and Bills were divisional rivals.

the deal with Mark Sanchez is that he is a rookie. we got spoiled the first three weeks with excellent performances, but i gotta say i saw this coming. I can also say the we can still make the postseason with sanchez if the the rest of the team supports him.

penalties hurt every team, every season. basically, this stuff happens, and its up to rex to put his foot down on these guys. penalties reflects coaching issues and we also have a rookie head coach. but again, he can get his stuff together real quick, Rex has a great football IQ. like the team he just has to execute.

Kris Jenkins is a big loss. but Sione Pouha is capable of holding his own in that D-line. im not saying he will be as effective as Jenkins, but our overall D will not be much less effective as long as he plays like he has the potential to. Pouha is a guy that can draw two defenders to block him.

What i’m saying is, stay strong and keep the faith. Our season isn’t over yet.
