Kris Jenkins Out For Season With Torn ACL
Adam Schefter just confirmed that is has been filed with ESPN.
Crushing blow to us. I noticed that we ran a lot of 4-3 after Jenkins went down, and Gholston was actually playing NT, obviously not the solution.
What do we do now though? Play Pouha? run more from the 4-3?

This will really hurt our base defense
Jenkins was a massive (literally and figuratively) force in the middle, and the reason our 3-4 has been successful is because of him. Hell he was in the running for mvp for a while last season. Unless Pouha can get that kind of disruptive push that Jenkins created, the base defense will not be successful, meaning we might see more 4-3, meaning less of those 3-4 zone blitzes that Ryan has masterfully created. I don’t imagine that switching base defenses mid season would be an easy task, and our current personnel do not fit the 4-3. maybe put pouha and ellis at tackles, and gholston (his natural position) and pace and ends? Who knows, but this has pretty big complications for our defense.
Maybe Mangini would be willing to trade us Shaun Rogers, he’s already given us his best player on offense, why not defense too?
If Mangini traded us Shaun Rogers
the league might open up an investigation, and Browns fans would probably burn his house down.

Doesn't matter
With Woody more concerned with PSL’s, he will make sure Sanchez (Mark, even though you did not graduate from college, you really should know the difference between numbers 6 and 9) keeps his starting job even when he is horrendous like yesterday. Keep paying the big bucks and buy that shirt Jets fans – Buddy’s son needs to eat.
