PASS RUSH

What has happened to the Jets pass rush the last two games?  Even with the return of Calvin Pace, the defense  made Henne look like Payton Manning.. Also... Leon Washington must be on the field more..if he is just put in for certain situations...the opposing defense knows to key on him. I hope that this season doesn't start resembling last when a great start doesn't go by the wayside. MUST beat pitiful Bills Sunday or we are in serious trouble

Any chance that Henne made your defense look like the Bucs?

Always making excuses. Your defense was simply outplayed. I can’t imagine how the next game in NY will be any better than this one though.

Dolphins and Gators baby!

Props to the Phins BUT!!!!

the defense hasn’t really pushed the pocket since the Tenn. game, personally Thomas must go as well as Elliss and Douglas they aren’t that good and Jenks is probably getting tired already and those are the cold hard facts.

I was going to comment the same as gatorfin

I think Henne played a great game. He was smart, pretty fast at his reads, and he got the ball out really well. He even had a few good throws under serious preasure. Maybe yall shouldnt think so bad about your defense.. maybe Henne is the next Brady/Manning/Brees ? If ya’ll look at it that way then it will feel better inside. :)

Henne’s passer rating was 130.4 he was 20 for 26 with 241 yards and 2 td’s 0 int.

Henne is now our leader. Lets see what the guy can do !
As usual the R&R Xpres is non stop to its next destination !
Driver of the Camarillo, Hartline & Bess fan club bus.. hop on and enjoy the ride!
We need this pass D to STEP THE F UP and do what they get paid to do!
CP10 you will be missed. Long live noodle arm ! Seriously, a great leader and I hope we see Coach CP10

4 or 5 sacks in 5 games?

I don’t want to hear about “pressures” and “hits”. Sacks are drive stoppers, and you have to get them if you want to be good. Ellis and Pace were awful last night from the edge. They were not getting pressure at all.

Agree

1st great handle love it I remember watching him wow it’s to bad he could’nt throw the ball back to the pitcher he had a good bat as well as arm, next I’ve been telling everybody to bench Ellis and Douglas and slide Pouha over and give Ropati a chance I mean 6’8’ 310lbs. not bad and Pouha 6’4" 328lbs. with Jenks I think they could squeeze the pocket just a little bit more than they are now, speed is a non factor use there brute size and strength and let the LB’s do the speed thing.

just like any defensive scheme

after it’s been around a while, people learn how to defeat it. live by the blitz, die by the blitz.the scheme is basically the same as they used in baltimore for a while now. it can’t continue to be effective forever.

extra blockers

plus quick throws and screens= blitz killer
