I sure miss our cornerbacks
Still, it will be great to see Pace and Edwards on the field, hopefully doing things. I’m hoping at some point we get to see our entire Defense, healthy and on the field gelling. Plus we have Gholston as an insanely overpriced situational back, where he probably belongs. Part of me wants to see him subbed for Bryan Thomas or one of the Defensive Ends from time to time, after seeing how many blockers he was taking up.
More than anything else I hope that Cotchery plays so we can see if the duo has any 1-2 combo against the secondary, or if they open up the slot or Keller at all. Or even the running game.
Big doings, I’m excited.

Agreed
Can’t wait to finally get our full defence on the field, we haven’t even seen it yet this season with the early suspensions then the injuries. I’m quite worried about Strickland, as there were no real signs of improvement from any reports, and obviously he is one week short of missing a month of action. I thought he was very impressive in the opening game against Houston. I still haven’t lost faith in Gholston and I’m quietly confident that in his new simplified pass situational role, we might see him get to the QB.
I have a feeling that Cotchery will play on Monday and sitting out was really just precautionary. I’m looking forward to seeing the guys out there though, and it should be a cracking game.

here's hoping
I really think Strickland and Sheppard were vital cogs and missing pieces against the Saints. I don’t think it’s as vital when we face other teams that are “incomplete”, whether it be owed to injury, youth or lack of talent I. E. I think we’ll probably survive the terrible onslaught that is the half assed Miami Offense and their Tamecat schemes.
But if we wanna produce down the stretch, really look like the Big D in the league, we need our boys back. And for Marky Mark to hold on to that ball.
