PrintThomas Jones seemed to back off some of his remarks in an interview with ESPN.
If nothing else, it is good to see that Jones realizes he made a mistake openly ripping a teammate and is looking to minimize the damage.

Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Jones forgets that when Pennington was there, defenses weren’t afraid of the long ball so they played close to the line and were able to stuff the run. Farves cannon opened up the run game for Jones and made him and Washington look like studs. In ’07 Jones was sub par, in ’08 he is a Pro Bowler. Real classy.
