Green Out Next Weekend

The Jets are holding their first Fan Appreciation Day next weekend when they take on the Bills. The team will be giving away jerseys and game balls to lucky fans but wants something in return, for all fans to show up in green.

This might seem a bit silly since most fans already wear green, but this concept has worked for other teams in the past. Back when I was a student at Boston College, fans were given gold shirts in home basketball games against North Carolina and Duke. Everybody working together to create a wave of a team's color really helps to give the fans an extra jolt before a huge game.
