Favre: Offensive Player of the Week
Brett Favre has been named AFC Offensive Player of Week 4.
To nobody's surprise, Brett Favre was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week after his career-high six-touchdown performance in the the Jets' 56-31 rout of the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
Favre completed 24 of 34 passes for 289 yards in his 257th consecutive start. He threw one interception and had a 123.7 passer rating.
If those kind of numbers were not good enough to win the award, a recount trumping that of Florida in 2000 was in order.

Brett looked great and sure seems to be having alot of fun. With the easy part of the schedule coming up I think he will continue to dominate. I’d sure like to hear him say he’s coming back for more next season as well.
